Hardwired and Built-In Appliance Monitoring
One small yet smart self-install sensor can save you big on bills.
Hardwired Appliance Energy Monitor
Larger in-home appliances are often hardwired, like air conditioners, ovens, and pool pumps, and can be some of the highest energy users in your home, according to Canstar Blue, and the same goes for businesses.
Adding a sensor to a new or existing Powersensor solution allows you to monitor the energy usage of built-in hardwired appliances with an accessible conduit, such as air conditioners, and ovens.
Powersensor also works with appliances connected to outdoor power points and outlets rated above 10A. Not only can you monitor GPO plugged appliances with the WiFi Plug, but now you can self-install sensors to monitor hardwired appliances.
Gain real-time connectivity with whole-of-house energy data, wherever you go.
Hardwired appliance monitoring.

Our hardwired appliance monitoring solution is no different; it simply fits with new or existing Powersensor installations and provides real-time energy usage for some of your biggest bill contributors.
The breakthrough is in self-installation. We are the only self-installed hardwired appliance monitoring solution in the market.
If there is a conduit, it’s likely we monitor it.

Air conditioners are notorious for their energy-draining qualities, whether used for heating or cooling, which, depending on where you live, can be unavoidable. One of the more popular types of air conditioners is the split-system air conditioner, which is generally more energy-efficient than other types of air conditioning. However, they can still be big energy-drainers. That's why Powersensensor has been working with utility retailers to help their customers, like you, reduce their power bills and demand on the grid, helping with energy stability. Simply place the sensor on the airconditiong conduit with an existing Powesensor system to get real-time data, wthin 48 hours.
-
Pool pumps can be one of the highest energy costs in a home, especially if you don't have solar. Powersensor helps you understand your energy usage, set your pool pump at the right time of the day, and save you money. The Powersensor sensor is outdoor-rated, enabling you to monitor outdoor pool pumps that are plugged or hardwired.
-
Built-in electric ovens can prove a sneaky power-drainer depending on their fuel type, size, and of course, usage. Especially at peak times of the day, such as dinner, when energy prices are higher. Having a conduit directly into an electrical circuit makes gaining real-time energy data easy. You can use the Powersensor WiFi plug if you have a lead-plugged standard socket oven.
-
Built-in dishwashers are regularly used, and unless they have a high energy star rating and are not at their end of life, they can be high-energy consumers.
They have a conduit directly into an electrical circuit, making real-time energy data easy. You can use the Powersensor WiFi plug if you have a free-standing lead-plugged standard socket dishwasher.
-
Built-in electric cooktops are regularly used, often making them a moderate contributor to your power bills. A direct conduit into an electrical circuit makes gaining real-time energy data from an electric cooktop easy. You can use the Powersensor WiFi plug if you have a lead-plugged cooktop.
-
Do you charge a regular EV without V2G or V2H (vehicle to grid/home)? Then, understanding its energy use alongside your whole-of-house data helps you to gain a better understanding in one place, enabling you to take control of your energy ecosystem.
-
Unfortunately, the fridge is one of those appliances that you have no choice but to run 24/7, which is why getting the right size and efficiency for your requirements can make all the difference to your energy bill. Using the Powersensor sensor for a hardwired fridge or the Powersensor WiFi plug for a lead-plugged fridge can assist you with your power bills and energy savings.
-
Unlike the Wifi plug, the sensor is outdoor-rated, allowing you to monitor plugged outdoor appliances that the indoor-only Wifi plug cannot. Such as outdoor kitchen appliances.
