Appliance Monitoring Energy Data

Powersensor Partnered with Laundry Lady

Dear Laundry Lady Contractor,

We are pleased you have received your Powersensor Energy Monitoring or Advanced Solar Solution!

Powersensor has been provided to you courtesy of the Laundry Lady through the Energy Efficiency Grant.

Up to nine (9) WiFi plugs can be used to monitor up to eight laundering appliances; within the EOI, you provided the number of appliances you wish to monitor and have received WiFi plugs based on this EOI.

The Laundry Lady partnered with Powersensor to help you identify the costs of laundering, the most energy-efficient appliances, and the times in which using these appliances will be most cost-effective to run - which will help you understand your energy usage patterns and save money on your power bills.

Below, you will find a straightforward installation guide for your Powersensor, along with instructions on how to use Powersensor App, and share your energy information with the Laundry Lady.

Any install questions, you can contact Powersensor support.

Install Tips and Tricks

Please bear in mind that based on your electrical setup, the main consumption sensor, monitoring the whole-of-house energy consumption, may not be able to provide accurate results. However, please rest assured that the energy data recorded by the plug unit will be accurate. Also note that the plug unit will not progress past the learning phase without sufficient use of an appliance plugged into the plug.

  1. Ensure your plug is close enough to your sensor; if not, you may need an additional plug. Find out more here. Request an additional plug by emailing us.

  2. Do not move your Powersensor for 48 hours, while it calibrates. Learn more.

  3. Connect a plug to an appliance for calibration and ensure it stays connected. How does this work?
