Water Monitoring
Powersensor saves you big on energy & now water bills!
Water and Energy Monitoring Combined.
On average water meter monitoring can reduce residential water usage by 15% to 30%*. Pairing that with energy monitoring you could save hundreds on your energy and water bills.
We've revolutionised our patented technology, making it more intelligent than ever. Powersensor now seamlessly integrates your real-time whole-of-house energy data with your water data, all thanks to a small self-install sensor on your water meter! How easy is that?
By monitoring your water and energy usage with Powersensor, you can significantly reduce your utility bills. Providing you data and visibility into the water and energy usage for specific appliances with a Powersensor WiFi plug or sensor, such as washing machines or dishwashers.
Around 40% of household water is used and wasted in the bathroom*. The kitchen, laundry, and garden make up the rest of the water used in the home.
Changing your behaviours and using water-efficient appliances can save lots of water. Gaining real-time data to identify excess water usage, which could be caused by leaks, gives you added peace of mind.
Simply add a sensor to your existing or new Powersensor solution, place it on your water meter and see your water data in real-time.
We welcome existing Powersensor customers to join our beta trial!
You will receive a free Powersensor WiFi Plug. We ask you to contribute the cost of the water sensor ($120) plus shipping and we will send you an invoice from finance@powersensor.com.au to your email address.

It will take approximately 10 litres of water to calibrate the water sensor. One shower, dishwasher or washing machine load is enough.

For some water meter types, it will take approximately 10 litres of water to calibrate the water sensor. One shower, dishwasher or washing machine load is enough.
For other meters that only rotate once for 10l, it will need 10 times as much water. So 10 machine loads or showers should be enough.
Should your water meter have less signal signal strength, it might take a few extra revolutions (more water usage) to calibrate. -
